The scanner with product id 0x is supported by the gt68xx backend, however. The backend currently supports both types to some extent. However, it’s detected as mass storage device so just mounting it is reported to work. Calibration only fair at high resolution. I have a CP, but when I scan, the images are stretched horizontally and cover only half of the page. If your configuration appears to be correct, but the scanner hangs when you try to scan, you should update your kernel.
